The weather has been awful here, really awful. We have had sleet, snow, hail, wind – you name it we’ve had it! So it’s been a perfect weekend for staying in and crafting snug and warm which is exactly what I have done. As I mentioned in my last post I had several WIP’s laying about which really needed to be finished so I decided to use this weekend to get those done.
First up is my January LO for Project 12. Here’s the sketch we are working with:
And here is my take on it. January was quite a busy month for us so I had a good few photo’s to chose from. I used the journaling block to summarise the month’s goings on.

ext up is the LO I started way back at the beginning of February at the Peace Haven Retreat! I had an idea of how I wanted this to turn out and it was just one of those that didnt really come together so I ended up cutting it up and changing my idea altogether!
Simply Adorable
The papers are MME Lost & Found and the pink blooms are by Prima. The small green flower is a paper flower that I made a while ago for a mini album but I made too many so have a few still laying round.
Finally is a ‘quick’ LO I started at the Craft Club (I’ve started a club in our local village to introduce people to scrapbooking and card making as there is nothing like it here at the moment). I say ‘quick’ as it was intended to be started and finished within an hour to show a few ladies about scrapbooking in the hope that they would want to have go. Well, I spent so much time chatting and drinking coffee that I hardly got anything stuck down at all. I kept the LO simple so that the ladies new to scrapbooking could follow and produce LO’s of their own.
The photo is of Amy & Tony last summer on the water shoot slide at Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park in Norfolk while we were over visiting my brother.
Whoosh!
So there's the fruits of my crafty weekend! No longer WIP's . . . but finished and filed.
Thanks for stopping by,

Well now, you have been productive. I like them all, but especially - whoosh!
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog today, now following!! Your layouts are all lovely...I notice you are in Ireland. I have relatives in Co. Tyrone. Are there any good scrapbook shops in the area as we are visiting in April & coming up to Donegal for a few days??
ReplyDeleteoh Dee, they're gorgeous. Goodness, you've been busy.
ReplyDeleteOur mom does scrapbooking and says your work is beautiful! Much nicer and more creative than hers.
ReplyDeleteWell done on so many WIPs finished - my WIPs very quickly become UFOs.
ReplyDeleteLove the layout of your lovely cat - now I do remember you working on that one on our weekend away.
The double layout is a great way of documenting a whole month.
