Its My Prerogative!

OK, its only been a week since my blog make-over but . . . . .  I’m changing it again!  Just because I can. Its my prerogative.

I  loved the template that I downloaded from Nymphont  but after using it for a week I realised it looked very pretty but actually wasn’t very good on the eyes when it came to reading the posts. I am suffering from a deterioration in eye sight (I really should have another eye test done) and was struggling to see the type clearly against the pastel background and not being an expert in HTML coding I decided to ditch the template altogether and start over. So here I am with another new look - clean, crisp and clear.

I need to design a blog header to match my new look but other than that I think Im happy with this style. Well, for now anyway!

Scrap-A-Sketch!! . . . May

Its time for the May reveal in our group Scrap-A-Sketch . . .   I know I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again . .  boy the year is flying!

The May sketch was chosen by Lesley. She chose this fabulous sketch from Creative Scrappers :

And here is my interpretation :

I used the photo’s from this post which features the pics I took while we were holidaying in the Lake District recently.

Its my turn to chose the next sketch for the group . . I hope they like the one I’ve selected!

Practicing My Portrait Skills

I thought I would share the rest of the photographs I took of my lovely teamies while we were at the our Loch House weekend. They were very cooperative and allowed me to practise my portrait photography skills…..
Suzy . . . .
Lesley . . . .
Heather . . . . .
And finally I just wanted to share this one, not a portrait obviously but one that Im really pleased with. This small pond is in the grounds of a grand house across the road from Loch House Farm and on such a wonderful sunny day the reflections in the water were stunning and perfect for photographing . . . .
There is a wonderful weather forecast this weekend so do I get out and take photo’s or stay in a scrap ?  Ooh the decisions…
